Keep Your Family Happy & Healthy

One of the great things about our practice is that we have three full-time hygienists here. So if you have a family of three, four, five, six people, we can often see the entire family at the same time. So it’s much more convenient. We have several people that work here that have worked in pediatric offices previously. So we’re really good at being able to talk their language. And we make it fun. We’re not going to force a kid to do something that they’re not willing to do. We’re not trying to make them do things that maybe they’re not developmentally ready to do yet.
We have digital imaging here. We have the ability to take external bitewings, which are an X-ray that we can take that doesn’t require a sensor be placed inside the mouth. So if they’re a little too small for that, we have the ability to still get some films on them and take a look at them. But in general, I think it’s that we make it fun and we get the kids used to being in the chair. We also encourage the parents to bring their young children with them to watch them during their dental appointments so that they kind of take that fear factor away as well.
