Dr. Lauren Llorente brings a calm, patient-centered approach to every visit at Alber Dental Studio in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Llorente joined Alber Dental Studio as an associate dentist, working alongside Dr. Marc Alber to bring comprehensive, fee-for-service dental care to Boulder families. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, where she also served as Vice President of her class, and completed advanced training through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Louisiana State University.

Dr. Llorente takes a calm, unhurried approach with each patient, explaining every step of a visit in plain language before any treatment begins. For patients who are more comfortable in Spanish, she offers the same explanations and care in Spanish. Her goal is for every patient to leave each visit knowing exactly what happened and why, and what comes next.

Dr. Llorente is a Miami, Florida native who began her academic path at Nova Southeastern University, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry with a minor in philosophy. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, and during dental school she worked in public health clinics across Colorado, providing both dental care and Spanish-language translation support to underserved communities. She then completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Louisiana State University before returning to Colorado to practice.
Dr. Llorente remains active in her profession as a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Society. Because Alber Dental Studio is a fee-for-service practice, she and Dr. Alber are able to build each treatment plan entirely around a patient’s clinical needs and goals, rather than around what a given insurance network allows.
Community Involvement
During dental school, Dr. Llorente volunteered in public health clinics across Colorado, providing dental care and Spanish-language translation support to patients in underserved communities.
New and Returning Patients Are Welcome
Dr. Llorente continues to see patients in Boulder at Alber Dental Studio, and she is currently accepting new patients. Alber Dental Studio operates as a fee-for-service practice, meaning the office does not contract directly with dental insurance companies, but many patients still use their out-of-network benefits to offset treatment costs. For patients without insurance, or with plans that don’t cover a full course of treatment, the practice accepts CareCredit, Cherry, and Altheon financing, HSA and FSA funds, cash, check, and credit cards, along with an in-house Membership Plan for patients who prefer a flat annual rate.
