During business hours we can virtually guarantee that we can get you in the same day. We made an investment. In 2018, we opened a new office that we have more operatories than we did in our old office. And we have chairs that are dedicated to overflow. So if a patient has a trauma or a toothache or something of the sort, even if you’re a new patient that we haven’t seen before, we can typically get you in on the same day. When we have emergencies on the weekends, I literally leave my cell phone number on the answering machine so that patients can reach me and we can talk through. Most of the time I’m available to be seen on the weekends for emergency patients.
Get Help for Your Most Pressing Dental Emergencies
Obviously, you’d like to avoid a dental emergency if you can. That’s the benefit of preventive care. Maintaining good oral care habits and visiting us for routine checkups will keep your teeth and gums healthy. So you’re less likely to experience an emergency.
However, if you need urgent dental care, our team will help you right away. We will quickly identify the root cause of your problem and get you feeling better ASAP. Your dentist uses the latest techniques to restore your smile. Plus we use state-of-the-art technology, such as 3-D CEREC technology for same-day crowns.
Some common procedures used during an emergency include:
- Fillings – If you have a cavity or a broken filling, your dentist will repair your tooth with a composite filling. This will restore your tooth’s strength and appearance.
- Dental Crowns – For teeth that are decayed or damaged, a dental crown can save your smile. Your dentist can use time-saving CEREC technology to design, create, and place a custom-made crown in just one appointment.
- Root Canal Treatment – If you have an infection inside your tooth, you may need a root canal. This procedure will eliminate your pain and prevent the infection from harming other teeth.
- Gum Disease Treatment – If you’re experiencing discomfort from gum disease, your dentist will perform a deep cleaning procedure in and around your gumline. This will remove harmful bacteria and prevent further infection.
You can opt for sedation to feel more relaxed during your appointment. You can also watch TV and wear headphones while we save your smile.
