With damaged teeth, we can restore just about anything in a single appointment. With missing teeth, implant dentistry has come a long way. Very, very high success rate, very high predictability with implant dentistry. Once that implant has integrated, we can oftentimes restore that in a single appointment as well. And the nice thing about that is then you’ve got a single tooth that’s not bridged to other teeth. You can floss between the teeth. The hygiene is much, much easier. They’re very, very stable. They’re very durable. We do a lot of our dentistry in a single appointment, and that’s, I think, one of the things that really sets us apart. And with living in a community of very, very busy people, it’s something that our patients really appreciate.
Restore Your Dental Health & Function
Your oral health is important. If dental damage, disease, or tooth loss has affected your smile, you’ll want to address these issues as soon as possible. At our practice, our team uses state-of-the-art technology during your visit. For example, CEREC 3-D printing technology makes many of your restorations. Your dentist can stop an infection with a root canal and restore your tooth with a crown in a single appointment.
Based on the health of your mouth, your dentist may suggest:
- Tooth Fillings – We use tooth-colored fillings to fix teeth with cavities or damage. They’ll look just like your other teeth. Plus, your dentist can remove any existing metal fillings that you have in your mouth and replace them with composite.
- Dental Crowns – A dental crown made using our CEREC technology can restore your tooth in a single visit. Your dentist can also spot decay early using his infrared iTero scanner.
- Dental Bridges – Replace one or more missing teeth with a bridge anchored to nearby teeth. You’ll have your fully functional bite back.
- Inlays and Onlays – These partial restorations are somewhere between a filling and a crown. Your dentist can make them in our office using the best materials.
- Dentures – You can replace missing teeth with full or partial dentures. You can wear temporary ones while your new teeth are being made.
- Tooth Extraction – When necessary, Dr. Smith will recommend an extraction to remove a problematic or unsalvageable tooth.
- Root Canals – Your dentist will stop an infection in your tooth with a root canal. The entire procedure takes only a single visit because of our same-day crown capabilities.
Our team will keep you at ease during your visit. To help you relax, we offer safe dental sedation options like laughing gas and oral sedation. We also provide extras to make your treatment more pleasant, such as TVs and headphones so you can remain happily distracted.
