One, we’ve done a tremendous amount of continuing education in that realm. I’ve been restored myself. One of the things that I really feel set us apart is we’re able to do a trial smile for most people. What a trial smile is, is you’ll come in and we take a digital impression of your mouth, no goop, just a digital impression. We send that off to our laboratory, which is one of the best labs in the world. They will digitally design that smile and then 3D print that model, which we’re able then to take an impression of and transfer that into the patient’s mouth without ever having prepped a tooth. So before that, a patient has to fully commit to the case, they can see what the smile would look like and make sure it’s really right for them.
What Is Cosmetic Dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry encompasses dental procedures designed to improve the appearance of your teeth, gums, and smile while maintaining or enhancing your oral health. According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, cosmetic dental treatment decisions should be based on evidence-based protocols combined with sound clinical judgment, ensuring that beauty is more than skin-deep and complements your overall oral health. These treatments address concerns like discoloration, chips, gaps, misalignment, and other aesthetic issues that may affect your confidence.
Modern cosmetic dentistry has evolved significantly with advances in materials, technology, and techniques. What once required multiple appointments and invasive procedures can now often be completed in a single visit using digital technology and minimally invasive approaches. At Alber Dental Studio, we combine these innovations with personalized care to create results that look natural and last for years.
Comprehensive Cosmetic Solutions
We offer a full range of cosmetic treatments tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to address a single tooth or completely transform your smile, our team develops customized treatment plans that align with your vision. Each approach is designed to enhance your natural features while correcting the specific concerns that brought you to our office.
Restorative dentistry is all about fixing teeth that are damaged or replacing teeth that are missing. Cosmetic dentistry is used to make teeth that are already healthy look even better. Sometimes these two types of dentistry overlap. When you get restorative treatments to fix your teeth, they often make your smile look nicer. And some cosmetic treatments, like tooth bonding, can fix small bits of damage to your teeth. So while they’re different, both restorative and cosmetic dentistry can help you get a smile that looks and feels great.
We use the latest technologies and treatment techniques to ensure you’ll remain comfortable throughout your cosmetic treatment. For example, digital scanning allows us to make impressions of your teeth with no mess or hassle, and we use a laser to painlessly reshape your gum-line. No matter which treatment you receive, you’ll find it easy to relax in our welcoming atmosphere. We’ll explain everything before your treatment starts, so you know what to expect. If you are nervous or worried about discomfort, sedation is available.
The whitening agent in our teeth whitening systems contains oxygen molecules that interact with the discolored molecules in your teeth enamel. The discolored molecules are broken up, and your teeth are left a sparkling white. Depending on your wants and needs, we can alter the level of whitening by changing the strength of the whitening agent and how long it’s applied.
