Dr. Alber is simply all of the things that make a great dentist – knowledgeable, friendly, cautious and he is well connected to his peers for any needed referrals. Recently, he helped me navigate a dental emergency during off hours. He’s your guy! The office is one of the best run medical practices in the area because of the Office Manager, Jo. She is THE BEST in Boulder!
My concern to lose a tooth for the holidays was wiped out during a visit to Alber Studio. In one sitting, the doctor did a root canal, made a post and placed a crown that was custom milled on the spot., No doubt the doctor’s great talent and the state of the art equipment at his disposal, had made this possible.
Dr. Alber got me in quickly for a second opinion after a horrible experience with the office manager of my previous dentist. He had the competence and confidence to reassure me about a patch in my mouth that the previous dentist was unwilling/unable to deal with. Dr. Alber also has a plan for what to do going forward. He has now gained my whole family as patients. The staff were great, too.

She showed great care and her work felt very precise when repairing my teeth. She adjusted my bite after the procedure and I felt really well cared for and supported. Always a great experience at Alber Dental! The facilities are excellent- they provide a relaxing environment with state of the art equipment. The Dental technicians are highly skilled and make each routine visit efficient and totally painless. All of the staff is very warm, friendly, and they really make you feel welcome. I’ve been going here for years. Dr Alber and crew are all consummate professionals. I’ve never had my mouth mangled by any of the hygienists, and Dr Alber has always been attentive and thorough. I tend to be very high-anxiety around dental work and Dr Alber has always been patient, kind and understanding. He’s gone out of his way to be available to address my concerns at times of particularly high anxiety, and I’m very grateful to him for not making me feel ashamed for expressing my fears in those moments.

I love Dr. Alber and his team. The one time I tried a different dentist in the area I got a crown that wouldn’t stop breaking (4 broke) and my husband got an unnecessary root canal. I’ll never go anywhere else again. I’ve been a patient for almost 20 years. They really focus on cleaning my teeth WELL, helped me straighten my teeth with Invisiline and filled cavities and put on crowns with care.

I’ve had my family’s teeth cared for here for 25 years. This dental office is super cool-I practically feel like I’m in a spa chair. And it’s affordable. I appreciate how much Jo made dealing with insurance seem-less in the past. The office no longer takes insurance yet our costs are essentially the same (a little lower) due to their membership plan. My teeth and gums are healthier because of the care and recommendations of products specific to my needs. I actually like my experience at the dentist! Mallory takes my teeth to a different level with a gentle but thorough touch. And no one is more organized, caring, courteous and accommodating than Jo at the front desk. I saw Dr. Alber for the first time about a tooth that needed a root canal treatment because he was highly recommended by guys I used to work with. I was feeling a lot of pain in that tooth and he made an appointment for me on short notice. He diagnosed the issue quickly and thoroughly. His office staff are very friendly and professional. It is a very “Boulder style” office – not your average run-of-the-mill dentist office for sure. BTW, Dr. Alber played a part in inspiring a former coworker’s daughter to become a dentist herself and she is now a practicing dentist.

Abby is a queen hygienist! She really values patient comfort. I was offered massage/heat on my chair and a warm towel at the end. Her cleaning was excellent. She’s thorough and efficient, yet gentle. Highly recommend 🙂
We were in need of a dentist closer to home and I am so happy we found Alber Dental. The staff and dentists were so knowledgeable and helpful! Going to the dentist can be a scary thing, but I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time.

Everyone is always a little tense when they go to the dentist, but the team did a great job putting me at ease. I was in for a filling replacement and I hate drills. Dr Smith was very attentive to make sure I relaxed and spent extra time to make sure my tooth was numb. The procedure was straightforward and all the equipment they use is state of the art. Tthe pictures of the tooth afterwards looked better than when we started. Pricing was reasonable and I’m happy with Dr Alber and would recommend his practice.
They did it AGAIN!! I broke a tooth and called Dr.Alber, they got me in the next day and got my tooth fixed and back to normal!! The level of professionalism and customer service is above and beyond any Dental office I’ve ever been to. Very comfortable and welcoming staff. Dr. Alber is great at talking you thru the process and did a great job! Customer for life!! Thank you Alber Dental Studio!!
